The researchers suggest that it is because they have lower ATP depletion, a lower concentration of blood lactate, a low amount of epinephrine (adrenaline is an endogenous catecholamine), and a lower depletion of type I muscle glycogen (Trialix).
The mechanism behind these differences is not completely understood, but it is likely to have to do with hormonal differences Trialix. They do not seem to need so much rest between sets to reach a certain volume of load.
